Marc Chiarella

IFA Board Chair

Marc founded IFA and has served as a volunteer and its Chair since 2019.

He is very passionate about football, having played since he was 5 and coaching for many years.

Football provided Marc with many skills that he now uses in family life, socially and in his professional career:

“Football taught me how to interact with everyone, the importance of working together as a team, how critical discipline, goal setting and time management is, and, that there is no substitute for hard-work.”

Eager to give back to the game, Marc says:

“The founders of IFA have in common the betterment of the game in Australia. Our common focus is development of young players in a safe, affordable, collaborative, convenient, diverse and technical Footballing environment.”

Professionally, Marc is recognised for his deep understanding of identifying and managing risk. He has executive roles and holds board positions in organisations across many sectors including the financial services, legal, hospitality, real estate and investment industries.
